Centerline Was Founded
Centerline was founded in Santa Ana, CA, originally as TLC, becoming one of the first companies dedicated to connecting fleets with qualified commercial drivers. What began as a small commitment to excellence laid the foundation for five decades of industry leadership.
Expansion
As demand for skilled drivers grew, TLC expanded beyond California. New branches opened across multiple states, establishing a strong nationwide presence.
Acquisition
TrueBlue acquired TLC Services Group, bringing its specialized driver staffing expertise into the TrueBlue family and creating new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Rebrand
TLC officially became Centerline Drivers, uniting under the TrueBlue brand. The rebrand reinforced our focus on safety, compliance, and service while strengthening our position in the industry.
Leadership Recognition
President Jill Quinn was named to the SIA Global Power 100 Women in Staffing list. This recognition highlights her leadership and lasting impact on the transportation and staffing industries.
Women in Trucking
Centerline earned recognition as a Top Company for Women to Work For in Transportation for the first time. This is an honor we have proudly received every year since.
Industry Leadership
President Jill Quinn was elected to the NPTC Institute Board of Governors. Her appointment expanded Centerline’s influence on national fleet safety and driver education initiatives.
Workplace Excellence
Centerline earned its first Top Workplace Award and launched the Driver Safety Recognition Program. The program celebrates exceptional drivers who put safety first every day.

Launch of Respect the Drive™
Centerline introduced Respect the Drive™, a driver recognition program created to celebrate the heart of our business: our drivers. Throughout the month, drivers were honored with spotlights, exclusive gear, contests, and rewards. The celebration concluded with year-end recognition and the prestigious Driver of the Year awards.
Scholarship Launch
Centerline introduced the Drive It Forward Scholarship in honor of Sheila Castaneda. The scholarship supports women pursuing careers in commercial driving and helps shape the next generation of industry leaders.

Centerline Drivers received a Silver MUSE Creative Award for Respect the Drive™, highlighting the program’s behind-the-scenes look at why truck driving is essential and why drivers deserve to be celebrated. That same year, the division’s commitment to service excellence was recognized with the ClearlyRated 2022 Best of Staffing Award.
Veteran Support
Centerline launched the Veterans Apprenticeship Program in partnership with FASTPORT. The program helps military veterans transition into rewarding civilian driving careers.

Anti-Trafficking Partnership
Centerline partnered with Truckers Against Trafficking to raise awareness and provide critical training. This initiative equips drivers with tools to help combat human trafficking nationwide.
Tech and Awards
Centerline released the Centerline Mobile App, giving drivers streamlined access to job opportunities and company updates. That same year, we earned our fourth Best of Staffing Award, underscoring our commitment to service excellence.
